1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LoColendar ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is available at app.stay-loco.com and is operated by LoColendar ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
LoColendar is a family calendar application that consolidates calendar feeds from sports teams, schools, orchestras, and other organizations into a single unified view. The Service allows you to view, edit, and publish event data to your Google Calendar. Additional features include drive time calculations, conflict detection, and an AI-powered scheduling assistant.
3. Accounts
You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems, interfere with or disrupt the Service, or use the Service in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure.
5. Calendar Data
You are responsible for the calendar feed URLs you provide to the Service. We fetch and process these feeds on your behalf but do not claim ownership of the underlying event data. You retain all rights to your data. Event modifications you make through the Service are stored as overrides and can be reverted at any time.
6. Google Calendar Integration
The Service offers optional integration with Google Calendar. By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize us to create dedicated LoColendar calendars and manage events within those calendars. We will not modify, delete, or access your existing personal calendars or events outside of LoColendar-created calendars. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time, which will revoke our access.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. Calendar feed availability depends on the third-party providers (sports teams, schools, music programs, etc.) that host them.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any missed events, incorrect schedule information, inaccurate drive time estimates, or any damages arising from your use of the Service. You acknowledge that calendar data originates from third-party sources and may contain errors.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by LoColendar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
